    Smiley Dragon!

    Hi

    I noted with interest recently that someone on here thought that Dragonflies have a smile, if you can see them up close! I was lucky enough to get a head-on shot of one yesterday at the British Wildlife Centre, and I now see what they meant!

    It may just be me, but does anyone else thinks he looks like Mr Miaggi from the original film of 'The Karate Kid'?

    Hope you can see what I mean!

    C&C welcome. Mike

              Thanks Stan, Dave, Lee, Garry and Tom for viewing and commenting.

              Whilst getting a shot of a Dragon in flight isn't 'easy'... you just have to wait till he hovers somewhere... usually they come back to a favourite place, so being observant and patient usually works! However...in this shot I was just plain lucky that he hovered for a few seconds about 3 yards in front of me! This shot is one of a series of about a dozen that are all roughly the same, just slightly different wing positions!

              I do like the 7D's 8fps!

                            Better than anything I have got of a dragonfly.

                            Mr Miaggi or Kung Fu Panda ............. tough call!

                              @Doug - I'm thinking of framing it... we'll see!
                              @Colin - I was never into Kung Fu Panda... I'll stick with Mr Miaggi!
