    More Dragons

Taking a couple of tips from Mikep I had a go at capturing a dragonfly in flight. This one appeared around my small pond. My combo of 550D and 70-200mm lens really struggled with the focus. Think I should have upped the ISO to 800 to increase the shutter speed.
    WDYT?

Almost there with those, I think you could get the heads a bit sharper with a round of usm

Not bad at all for a first attempt.

My first camera was a 550D, and I'd have been very happy getting your shots using it. You're right, upping the ISO would have given you a faster shutter, and would have frozen the wings a bit more. It's all in the practice, so keep'em coming!

Stan is referring to 'Unsharp Mask' - a form of sharpening that can be applied using the provided DPP software that came with your camera.
