    There be dragons

Quick couple of hours at Rainham on Sunday (trying to beat the rain clouds - just) managed a couple, handheld 5D mk3 with the 100mm macro

    #1 - 1/80, f/6.3, iso 160 'smile'

    #2 - 1/80, f/6.3, iso 100

    #3 - 1/500, f/3.5, iso 100 manual focus before crop

    #4 - 1/500, f/3.5, iso 100 manual focus heavy crop

#5 - 1/800, f/3.2, iso 100 tried faster SS as it flew away

Technically not brilliant but for the conditions etc I'm pretty happy with them.

A lot of these migrant hawkers about at the moment - got lots of flight shots yesterday at Barnes and a couple of static rather like yours - they rarely stop and when they do its never right out in the open

The flight are quite sharp just a shame you couldnt get nearer

      Very nice set David.

Tricky little blighters to get, so you've done well. #1 is very impressive indeed.
