    Three Blind Mice.

Well, that's only partly true, they're not blind ....................... but it was too good a title to ignore!

Great shot Colin, Harvest Mice must be the cutest of all small rodents.

Totally set up in the studio.

Two studio flash heads set at 45 deg behind. That gives some rim lighting to the whiskers and fur and guarantees a black background. Just a small reflector at the front to kick a little light into the fur and add some catchlights in the eyes. Without the catchlights, there is no life in the eyes and the shot just dies.

No bigger than your thumb, but they move like greased lightning. I was quite lucky to get any usable shots and the cute ones were just a big bonus for being persistent.

I took quite a few, so I'll dig out another couple of cute ones.

                              Very nice, very cute.

Did you use some of that Rodent Glue (TM) to keep them in place? Super stuff... works on all my mice shots.
