    Just good friends

Local frogs and toads are a little late this year getting together. Taken yesterday in my pond. In the second picture I noticed something on the frog's head in the original file. Did a crop of the image and discovered a mosquito feeding on the frog's head.

Pictures taken on a Canon 7D MKII with an EF 100-400mm f3.5-5.6 IS II USM Lens

I guess they are playing leap-frog!

Clearly one of them cannot swim so the other is helping out!

The ones in my pond are quite noisey but soon the whole area will be a cacophony sound.
