    Toadlets?

    Saw hundreds of these at the weekend all about 2cm long. I think they are toads rather than frogs. Seriously had to watch our footing.

    Sorry Neil for me the image doesn't work, mostly due to the fact that the eyes are in the shadow and thus very dark. Also the white twig distracts from the main subject IMO

        It's not easy to tell from this angle Neil. I am no expert but would guess frog as I think toads have wider heads.

          I can see Toms point but I think if you lifted the shadows and cropped some of the empty space above and a little below it could be a lot better - it also seems a tad noisy ?

            It could be a frog, also not an expert.
