    Gold Ringed Dragonfly

    These are one of the largest UK dragonflies with a wing span of up to 10 cm. They tend to rest on the vegitation around and sometimes away from the water so difficult to get an uncluttered background. This one is from the first visit to Crockford Stream

    Sounds like a worried man too me.

    Only joking ,another cracking image,I will have to try and have a go with my 100-300mmf4 lens its just ashame its so heavy to walk around with for a few hours.

      I will have to try and have a go with my 100-300mmf4 lens its just ashame its so heavy to walk around with for a few hours.
      you get used to it after a while although i must admit my right elbow permaently aches

          There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!
