click on your image in flickr - look in the bottom right hand side you'll see four icons - look for 3rd one along its an arrow. Click on that then use the navigation on the top and click BBcode - select size max 800 - copy code and paste onto your posting

Once you have selected and used the BBcode and the size next time it should default to that when you click the share / arrow link

Ok, got it, thank you...also I was using mobile flickr and that doesn't give you that option

That's true, the mobile version doesn't have the option. You'll have to login to the full web page and then you can post the BBCode.
