          the big sigma is a ideal close focus lens ,and now coupled with this improved 80d sensor shows a lot more detail in the butterflies

              having had the 70d to compare it with jim ,its a altogether big improvement better and faster a/f ,not quiet up to 1D standards but not bad ,though it does take micro-seconds to lock on especially if theres anything else in the screen still playing with settings with that .the files are vivid and smooth to work with ,noise levels are extremely well suppressed for a 1.6 crop sensor far better than the 7d2 imho .
