    Yet another dragonfly
    This is one I have yet to get with an uncluttered background but i like the pov.

    Another great shot with wondeerful detail.

    What fascinates me with the dragon fly shots is that they all seem to have much smoother eyes than those seen on the hover fly / bee / fly which all seem to have much more clearly defined facets to their eyes.

      yes you never seem to see the detail in their eyes like you cna with flies etc, strange since their eye is made up of around 30000 lenses

        Stan, That was my badly worded point they have so much more detail in the actual construct of the eye that it all smooths out where the other insects seem to be much coarser in the way the eye looks, one of the wonders of nature
