        One of the reasons I posted this one was the wings were more forward and parallel that the first post so got a lot more detail

            One very small bit and sorry to bring this up as it's such a great shot, is clone that tiny bit of leg halfway down the twig (left hand side)i'm sure it's his leg?

                      you do very well with that lens and extender combination
                      most of the time it is far better than the macro lens for butterflies and damsels, mainly for the extra working distance, although you can see from the macro forum I have used the macro lens a lot more recently for both damsels and dragons where I have been able to get very close without disturbing them
