    bloody large bee

    never ever seen a bee this large before ,no idea what it is but it dwarfed all the others around it

    Great shot, there are a large variety of solitary bees, some quite large

        Nice shot Jeff, it looks like a Buff-tailed bumble -bee, this is the largest of the British Bumble-bees.

          It's a queen of Bombus terrestris Buff-tailed Bumblebee. Queens are much bigger than workers and this species is about the biggest of all bumblebees.
