    Bees & a solitary wasp

    At the weekend I had my first real attempt at photographing insects around the garden using my new (to me!) 100mm f/2.8 macro. I did struggle a bit with getting the right shutter speed and aperture to make the most of it but it's a start.

    All comments and critiques welcomed, as ever!

    Great set Chris... the 100 Macro is a superb lens, and it looks like you've got it cracked... Well done...

                Thanks Tom & Jeff.

                Jeff - I see that you have had some good results shooting insects with the Sigma Sport too. I suspect that's a tad trickier to achieve than getting up close & personal with a 100mm macro!
