    A Butterfly

I haven't been taking many pictures for a while but seeing the contributions here keeps setting the bar high giving me something to aspire to. So thanks to all.

Bought a 25mm extension tube recently and gave it a go with the 100-400 L lens on the 7D11 when the butterflies and bees started to appear.. It makes it easier than the 100 macro for hand held.

If someone knows what this one is let me know.

Thank you, it's the most common one in my garden, peacock and red admiral turn up from time to time.

Nice shot, seems to be a few more butterflies around this year compared to last year.

                      Thanks Tom,

A late response from me but I have been on holiday for a month.
