    Fox Moth Caterpillar

Fox Moth Caterpillar - just out of hibernation. Fox Moth's lay their eggs at the end of June, the caterpillars feed until fully grown, then hibernate over the winter months. Waking and seeking out a suitable location for pupation in March or April, they then emerge as a Fox Moth in May or June.
