            Shutter fault, so seemingly it would cost more to fix than the camera is worth, annoying thing is it has done very little work, supposed to be good for 250000 actuations, it's not done 50k.

              That’s awful news. I guess it won’t be covered by any type of guarantee by Canon as they’d want you to by a new camera and lenses rather than repair. How about a second hand 1D or would that be more than the repair cost, just wondering if the second hand one could be used for spares for your own?
              I’d hate anything to happen to my camera, it’s like a friend.
