    Slug

My apologises if you are just having your tea. I came across this chap or girl this afternoon - they are both, handy in this day and age if you can identify as both I was attracted by it's colour and size all of five inches. It was heading in the direction of the Runner Beans, I redirected towards the edge of the pond

That's interesting Trev, looks very much like some I've seen in the garden recently, much bigger paler than normal.

A fine shot of something that's not generally popular - either as a subject or a garden visitor...

Thanks everyone, bit unsavoury, but I suppose they have their uses if only to provide a meal for Badgers and Hedgehogs.

I'm sure they have their uses in nature but I'm not a fan. I've seen a couple this colour. Though usually I see black versions and a strange grey/green mottled variety in the garden no where near the size you have captured in this image Trev.

Thanks Peter, wish now I had kept it. I've never seen one this size before and not so vivid orange as this one, but it appears it's no more than a Garden Slug.
