Well taken Trev, Nothing at all on my pond.. Once upon a time I had loads of frogs but they seem to have scarpered.

Hi Ian. Water quality have you checked it, most good garden centre will be able to do it, just take a sample. Might be a good idea if you know someone with a pond that’s got spawn on it at the moment to beg some to put in your pond. Pond are so important these days, we have lost far too many due to development etc. Garden pond are becoming the saviour of a lot of our water creatures such as frogs, toads and newts.

Thanks every one for looking and your comments, much appreciated. We counted 82 on the pond two nights ago all doing their bit to conserve the species.
