    What is this?

    I had loads of these on our bamboo, but haven't been able to find out what they are. Can anyone tell me? Thanks.

    Looks like it could be Harlequin Lady Bird Larva have a look on the 'Wild About Britain' web site.

      Thanks Woodshaper, thought it might be Lady Bird related, as there were quite a few of those as well; but hadn't been able to find a reference

          I think thats right and what a strange looking creature
          have a look on the 'Wild About Britain' web site
          that is an excellent resource - I always turn to them if I cant find an ID and there are so many knowledgable people, someone usually replies in minutes
