    Emperor Moth Caterpillar

Getting fed up lugging a heavy 5D2 or 1D3 kit on walks I was tempted by the Lumix range of CSC cameras. I decided to bite the bullet on Saturday and buy a Lumix G3 but when I spotted a 600D on the next shelf I decided to go for it instead.
To be honest I am quite impressed with the kit lens (EFs 18-55is) especially after hearing bad reports. Its certainly not up to the standard of all my "L" lenses but it seems sharp and focuses quite close.
I like the articulate screen but focusing when using it is painfully slow!!
This is a shot I took today with the new setup.

          Thanks folks
So far, So good with the 600D.

Stan, I waited for ages to uncurl but got fed up waiting as the wife and dog carried on walking so I just shot it as is.
          Glad I did now.

Like it curled round, and didn't expect it to have pink spots.
