    The Cormorant and the Eel

Saw this cormorant wrestling with an eel last week. The series gives an idea of its size - must have been at least 2 feet long !!!!

    Stan

All shot with 7D, 300 f4 and converter, 1/800 sec

          Cheers guys
It was great to watch - never seen one with something so big before and he had quite a battle. It was still alive as he tried to swallow it as you could see it trying to get out of the cormorants mouth

eels - you have to flip them on their backs and stroke them , then they lay still.......

                  Great series of shots Stan

Very unusual shots Stan I would have been happy just to have seen that let alone captured a cracking series of animal behaviour shots.
