Went for a walk today around Thursley Common, how I have been living near here for a year and never been to this place is beyond me. It's amazing!
Spent a good hour watching 2 or 3 Hobbies hunting, tough subject to photograph but I managed to get a few shots off that came out OK.

The place is crawling with dragon and damsel flies, this one I believe to be a Large Red Damselfly.

And for good measure I took a few shots of the local plantlife, not too sure what this is but I do like it in B&W!

All taken with my Canon 100-400, planning to head up there again once I have a better macro lens as there is a lot of subject matter that would suit such a lens.
