    Bird in flight first attempt

Been playing with my new lens and went to the local park to have a first go at birds in flight. Managed to miss quite a few flying mallards but caught a few of this chap as he was coming in to land. All comments welcomed please.

If that's your first attempt, you have done exceedingly well, much better than my first ones.

Thank you Colin. I just hope that with time and practice I can get close to what some of you guys achieve.

Birds in flight shots are very difficult. Keep on trying. Yours is very good for a first attempt whereas I only got several blank skies and tips of tails.
