    sunlit plant

    Taken last weekend. This caught my eye as the sun was shining through the fronds. Reminded me of torches.

    Canon 50D, 1/320, f 8. sigma 18-200 @ 200mm

        It may remind you of torches, it reminds me of a well seen and well captured shot.

          Thanks Colin, I try to see something more than what is.

          Here is another version:

          Same plant but a different location and I wanted to catch the 'tails' bending in the breeze.

            Those are super shots - love the backlighting. Am looking for a similar grass for my garden - you don't happen to know the name of it, do you??

              Hi Diana, no, I don't know the name. It is growing near water. This was taken in one of the main parks in Warsaw.
