Nice set Stan, it looks as if the 70-200 is working well with the 7d

for the foxes I find thats all you need, put the converter on and its just too long at the short end when they come near the wire. Dee finds her 70-200 f4 works well too

pros and cons - OK you dont need to worry too much about shadows etc but you do need to push the ISO to get the reasonable shutter speed - fortunately with cameras like the 7D nad the i series thats not a real problem

If it had not been forecast for bright sunshine I would have been with the f/2.8 and no flash

                      Nice shots there Stan,

Yes the kit is important, however I think your experience of snapping this kind of subject the key difference. :-)

                          Re: Red Fox

I really wish my work PC would allow the pictures to show, but I only see a very few at work, and unfortunately these are not showing for me!

Howevere, based on previous experience of your shots Stan, I'll say "well done, great shots"... but I'll have to confirm that later at home!

                          all the best, Mike.

OK - I can now confirm my earlier post!

The fox enclosure is so much better in Winter, as they don't have too many places to go and hide from you!

Thanks for posting these shots, they are all very good!

                            All the best, Mike.
