    The 320-gigapixel snap of London

Firstly - it wasn't me - well I've not been up the GPO tower since the 60's.

"It is comprised of 48,640 individual images shot over a period of three days and processed over a period of three months.

The pictures were taken using Canon EOS 7D cameras with EF 400mm f/2.8 IS II USM lenses and Extender EF 2x III teleconverters driven by special Rodeon VR Head ST robotic panorama heads from the Clauss company in Germany."

Thanks for that. As Stan says its amazing.
I've found both the London snap and the Everest one a few weeks ago fascinating.
Could be that the mega-mega pixel cameras of the future could produce stuff like this??

I too think it's amazing although I do think it invades peoples privacy by how close you can zoom in. I'm sure the person in the bedroom didn't know they were being photographed.

No need to say sorry ... I for one don't mind (my) threads evolving, morphing and wandering as long as there is a connectedness. It's all part of learning.

I don't think that I would have the patience to do anything like that!
