    Greensburg Train Station

Before heading back to Easton, Pa. I stopped by the old Train Station in Greensburg. The Station was built in 1910. The image is made up of 7 images, camera hand held:

    BW Version:

    Color Version:

Images taken with the EOS-M w/EF-22mm f/2 STM
    1/1250 sec @ f/3.5, ISO 100

    Comments welcomed.

I prefer the B&W Tom with the simple border, you did well to get that with 7 shots hand held, it's a pity about the sign in the road, although it's not as noticeable in the B&W.

What a great looking station Tom, I also prefer the B&W shot, as Paul has said it is a shame there is a big red sign in the middle but it is lost in the B&W version.

Nice architecture. Is it still in use as a railway station?

No preference like both ... and no cars ... just that red sign, can't be helped.

What an impressive building Tom, as others have said a shame about the sign but...it was there. Isn't it strange how the signs (not just the one in the road) are more noticeable in the colour version.
Seven images hand held what software did you use to stitch them?

Thanks Paul, Ian, MX5 & Peter for stopping by and leaving a remark. Maybe later today I'll try and cloning out the sign and reposting it. MX5, that have converted the station to a restaurant office space and some little shops inside. Tried to go up to the platform, but they have that padlocked shut. So I don't think it is used as passenger service anymore.

Peter, I used the Photomerge in Elements 11 to stitch the images together.

Very nicely done Tom. I prefer the B&W version and I think it will be a big improvement without the sign.

B & W for me this time Tom - without the sign

                        I used the Photomerge
it does a good job - a stitched a 24 shot pano I did on Brownsea this week using the version in CS3 - only thing was it took about an hour to render and produced a file of 1.2 gig in size before I reduced it to a jpeg

I will be different and say I prefer the colour version.
The mono looks a bit flat, dead to me.
Well stitched though well done Tom.
