Really nice - I've got a soft spot for stitched pano landscapes.

Shame about not being able to crop the second one. I got some good advice from here when I joined and that was to shoot in portrait mode where necessary as that gives more leeway when cropping the stiched pano.

Nice shots on your Flickr page too

    Cheers,
    John

Fan of Colin Prior Paul? Nice shots. I love the shot of Eilean Donan Castle. Dying to go there.

ye I guess it was colin who first inspired me to take a camera while hiking way way before digital and when the mobile phone was in a big red box and excepted 10 pences ( if your thumb was strong enough to push it in) but recently I've enjoyed this guys images - http://www.jamiehageman.com/page7.htm - at first I thought they were really good photo's, but no, they are paintings...

Oh ye and the cuillions was taken in portrait - I learnt that lesson as well....plus using a level.

its why I've been getting over friendly with the cuillions this summer/autumn, when the snow arrives a few are easily accessible from the hotel. From glen brittle their is a few short but steep walks but I don't think I'd wanna try that steep road down into it if it's icy. If all else fails, the misty boats run all year as long as the weather's OK - although that also means a steep road but gotta be better then walking all the way in deep snow, not these days... and all for some foggy rocky pinnacle atmospheric photo's...must be mad.

I was thinking that recently as I was climbing to the top of a castle to get a areal landscape shot - and I'm terrified of heights
