As with most panos, they tend to lose something when being posted small but it looks much better on flickr although the view for me looks too long and narrow - I presume you shot in landscape orientation and the stitching lost quite a bit of the foreground. When I remember, I find it is better to shoot pano in portrait and then even with the losses from the stitch you are still left with enough depth

I agree with Stan as it does lose something due to it being so narrow and as Stan says its better to shoot panos in portrait mode

I fell foul of this to when I took my first few panos. As you say it's obvious when someone points it out

yes the tickets allow for a free return within in 6 months so that could be an option
