Coronation Gala Concert at Buckingham Palace

This is my daughter leaving the stage. She plays violin with the NYO who were on stage for the entirety of the three concerts. This was the last one:

There are a lot more on my Flickr set of the concert: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjGQ3ze8 I also have this one in colour on there, but I was quite pleased with the B&W.

    Thanks for looking

What a gorgeous shot Richard. The processing just adds to the power and the pride you must of felt.

Great shot and timing, you can almost "feel" the atmosphere.

Richard, that is a lovely atmospheric image. You are right, the mono conversion really works on this one. Some more great shots on Flickr too, particularly 55-30.

Oh yes, I like this, it has mood in spades, intelligent use of light.

Stunning shot, it seems the light falls on her at just the right time for your shot making it look like she is the star.....wonderful, just looked at the rest of your set, fab images of a fantastic event and I would say I prefer the B&W shot above to the colour, really special....
