Yesterday Our Train Historical Society took out the Steamy for our annual meeting to a local winery. I got the opportunity to get into the cab to take a couple of images of the engineer at work.
1/30 sec @ f/3.5, ISO 350
EOS-M w/EF-M 22mm f/2
To give it a period look, I was reading about the Casein Print Method that was patented in 1908. Couldn't find anywhere on how to recreate this method digitally so I thought I would have a go.
Used LR for preprocessing on the image then over to Elements 11 where a Layer for Color Efex Pro 4 to create the color effect I was looking for using 3 filters (Film EFEX: Faded, Image Boarders, Paper Tone). Used 6 layers to create a Old Paper Texture. The 1 Layer for Yellow.
Checked Some of the Casein Prints and I think I'm close, WDYT?
