Canon 60D + 40mm pancake lens. I thought how unobstrusive I could be with a 60D + 40mm for candids without my usual compact. I found that I did not need a tele lens at all and I am happy with my view that a small camera is all that you need to take candids of people. TV 80;ISO 250;AWB; AV: auto

Thanks Robin and whatever you said in Welsh/French my friend MX5! With #1, I had to be very careful not to make the dog bark! If it had barked I would have been hard put to outrun the gentleman (& dog)- well who knows?
