    Mother of the Bride

Been rather distracted of late sorting the daughters wedding and getting work up together to get some time off to enjoy it, so not been on the forum or even picked up the camera! Didn't use it much at the wedding either but this one I am quite pleased with taken before we left the house.

Portraits are not my thing so advice/comments welcome!

SEE LATER IN POST FOR CROPPED PHOTO!

A great composition with the mirror and reflection although I would be tempted to crop where her sleeves end

Good composition with the mirror put to good use also I agree with Stan in thinking that cropping where the sleeves end to give the same image as is in the mirror would work better

I was thinking as well that with the arms in, it makes her pose look a bit awkward

                        Re: Mother of the Bride

Thank you all for the positive comments. The mirror was fortuitous as I saw my daughter come into the room. In the general hustle and bustle of getting ready to leave there wasn't a lot of planning going into the shots!

The crop is an excellent suggestion though Stan, thanks...
