    I want one of this

    I was at the Bempton cliff yesterday and saw this guy shooting with his Pentax camera and attached lens with this, i guess DIY stabiliser and trigger. He was just shooting with his right index finger. any one seen something similar?

      I had a pal who had a Zenith Photosniper back in the 70's.

      The Photosniper SLR-"guns" were made by KMZ. Maybe the conception behind these "shooters" was to give photographers who were gunmen a tool for shooting tele-exposures with a more quiet hand. The Photosniper cameras were originally made for the Military for battlefield photography. The most famous user of the photosniper was Nikita Kruschev. It is rumored that he was actually the father of the modern photosniper. Supposedly his photosniper FS2 was broken and he took it to KMZ to be repaired. When

        I'd not want to be using one of those now. With my 7D2 and 150-600 fitted it would look like a hand-held rocket launcher...
        EOS 7D mk II, Sigma 150-660C, Canon 17-85 EF-S, Tamron 10-24 and a wife who shares my obsession.

            Ha..ha.. yes it would Andy, i am sure the lens he is using is similar to 600mm by the look of it.

                  A bit overkill but I suppose you need to do something to attract attention if you are shooting with a Pentax camera
