    Red cyclists

    Part of our route when we cycled in the forest last week is along a disused railway line. I had just intended a landscape shot but saw these cyclists in the distance so waited for them to get closer

    that works....looks like the guy is giving you the eye - would it handle a heavy crop going right into the guy ?

      here is a 25% close up



      looks like the guy is giving you the eye
      I hadn't noticed that until I just did the crop - I was trying to be cool - held the camera up for the shot when he was way in the distance and pretended to be framing up until he got close

      The other thing was, the camera was set up for 3 shot HDR so the resulting HDR image had much too much ghosting with the slowish shutter speed so I just processed the middle one

        I hadn't noticed that until I just did the crop - I was trying to be cool - held the camera up for the shot when he was way in the distance and pretended to be framing up until he got close
        ...I do just the same with streetwork - or I'll point the camera off to one side then re frame and snap

        I do prefer the crop - one of the handy things with HDR you do have a single image to use thats correctly exposed..

            Crop looks best Stan cyclists look a bit lost in the 1st.
