    The Mrs..

    As I was testing out the 70-200 for a member here yesterday I took one of the wife in the pool when the light was behind her - I know it breaks the rules but I was pleased with this shot

      Nice pics Ian. i am sure your little dog was also keen on getting in on the act!

          Backlighting works great Ian
          Apparently pros that can't find shade for wedding shots use this technique
          Excellent photo bombing by your little dog as well :-)

                            Like the symmetry and reflection of the first shot Ian

                            The second I might crop tighter, even to lose the top of the dogs head, to lose most of the background which is a bit distracting

                              thanks Stan - I agree about the second, that pillar !! its got in the way more than a few times including last year when i walked into it drunk and nearly knocked myself out although I have been able to pole dance on it ....I've got a video somewhere
