    Ibiza here we come

    I was down the beach a few days ago and saw this couple paddling off in the direction of Ibiza - turned it into more a silhouette

    Doesn't look a particularly seaworthy vessel....

        I think they will struggle going head to head with a container ship ;o) ....

          I see what you was thinking but for me the shadows are a little too 'shadowy?'

            If you darken them more for a silhouette effect and lower the highlights a bit it would be much better. As it is the composition works for me

              cheers guys - so one lighten shadows another darken LOL... I think I'll leave just as is ;o)

                Like the composition Ian but that black blob in the background? Why not crop in to the couple paddling leaving out that black blob and add a bit of water to the top to give the couple a bit of room? Seems to work better without that black blob on my screen.

                    Interesting idea Ian, not sure it quite worked for me at least. The horizon is nice and straight though!
