    Pride and Joy

My two children at a recent family wedding, caught them having a chat on the stairs of the hotel. Background very distracting but didn't have the room to get a decent bokeh, but even so an opportunity for me not to be missed. My son Jacob is leaving on Monday to spend 3 months with a host family in the remote hills of Nepal as a VSO volunteer, the first youth group to go out from the UK since the earthquake. I am terrified but at the same time bursting with pride, Christmas just won't be the same without my boy

To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not with a silver spoon in your mouth, but music in your blood and poetry in your soul.
