Lest we forget!

It was good news to see that the NHS choir composed of patients,carers and medical staff,get the Christmas No 1 spot in the Christmas charts. In North Wales, we have the "Sing with us Llandudno Choir" which consists of Cancer patients,recovering patients,carers and medical staff, who gave a brilliant performance at St.Asaph Cathedral on 10th Dec. They performed along with several other choirs at a Tenovus (Cancer) Lovelight Concert which raised a little over £4,100. I was privilaged to be present and to take these photographs.(I have posted these pics before but I thought as we end the year today,a reminder about conquering illnesses/disabilities will not be amiss)

Sterling job by you and them ,I have a friend over the road with terminal cancer and I am going to his wedding in two weeks if he lasts that long ,that's true bravery .as you say lest we forget

Great job Nat.
On a photographic issue the 6D must be the best camera to handle Noise 12,800 and no noise in sight and i prosume straight from camera as i don't think you do much P+P so a double Wow.

Thanks Paul. Yes, I do a bit of P+P where necessary like lifting shadows,bit of cropping etc etc BUT speed is essential as the pics are sent to the Cancer Charity for their own publicity work. The local press too are sent some pictures. Yes, I love my 6D and I "think" I know it fairly well now. Having said that I do go a bit early to the venue when I have an assignment and check out my exposures to get it right as there is no "dress rehearsals" for me ,for these concerts.

We seem to have got off lightly on the East side where I live this time Nat. However York and other places on those river systems (Ouse, Ure & Foss amongst others ) have suffered yet again.
