The Queen's birthday celebration in St.Asaph started at 8pm. There was a church service in the Parish Church which was attended by the Mayor,Deputy Mayor & other celebrities. The service was conducted by the Dean and Canon Precentor. After the service, the crowd walked over to the commons where a beacon was lit by the mayor and simultaneously a beacon on the Cathedral tower was also lit. This was followed by a fireworks display. The evening was very nice as the weather played ball. All photographs were taken largely without flash with the Canon 6D +24-105 lens and also with the Canon 6D + 70-300mmL with Kenko 1.4 convertor to get the Cathedral beacon pics.
