    Buddhist Monks

    We were at the Thai Temple in Philadelphia for one of their festivals. As I was walking around I took these images of some of the monks chanting.

    Although they work well in mono, I think they would be better in colour

    Interesting to see one with a mike and the other not

      Wow I'd love to do some shots like this...I've been reading up on Buddhism over the last few years so pretty interested.
      I think the robes -Im guessing are bright orange would look great if the images are colour - maybe a colour pop on orange - might / might not look good

          I've looked at this a few times and I think this is one shot that would look better in colour

            Nice and sharp Tom but I also agree that the monks would look better in colour.

                Colour for me too. Don't seem right them chanting holding a modern mic though

                        Funnily enough, I agree with you Tom, that B&W works well... Maybe playing a little with the process could enhance their robes in B&W strengthening the composition, but I like it!
