    Passion

taken at a local event - I do love the way the 5D handles low light, only thing I was annoyed with is I should have put the camera into auto ISO

    Re: Passion

I use Auto ISO quite a bit as even when high noise is well controlled.

      Re: Passion

When you have the light changing a lot going auto seems the best way - I kicked myself when I got home and started edited images seeing speeds of 1/500 and 6-10k ISO ... but next time

                Re: Passion

Occasionally I use auto ISO if like you the light is changing a lot. But the 5D3 handles it better than mine of course

For me the chap on the left should be cropped out. He looks a bit lost and not really engaging in the shot

                    Re: Passion

Nice dancer but everything else lets it down, all three guys in the back have taken any passion out of this shot maybe a tighter zoomed in shot might of saved the day.

not sure I agree there Paul, agree the guitar player looks a tad doppy, but dancers always have a a band.. I did post one that was a tight crop, this time wanted to show the full crew :)

                      but cheers for the feedback

I appreciate what you wanted to do Ian and always worth a try but those guys (all three) are just killing the shot, the poor girl giving her all and the others wishing they were all somewhere else.

Ps- can you tell I've just watched Master of photography on Sky Arts I'm now the world's biggest critic lol

I do agree Paul, but I think the guys were trying to put passion across as well, something we all fail at LOL

LOL not seen it yet, hopefully this week - you'll know when

Interesting shot Ian. Light is well controlled. I think I will stick with my 6D for all low light pictures.
