    The Artist

Using the 5DMIII with the Nifty 50 STM took this image of an artist painting the Falls. She sells her prints for $1,000 dollars a copy.

          A very good image Tom

$1,000 may seem steep but it reflects the artist's talent in creating a colour painting using only black and white paint

          Cheers,

I like that Tom - I suspect she must be using PS because she's cloned out the funny pointy tower thing on the RHS.

I like the artist and the drawing. Before I fell ill I used to buy such original paintings & had a house full adorning all my walls.

                            Re: The Artist

I'm going to be a bit more controversial here, it doesn't really do much for me. I find that there are so many colour pop processing images around perhaps Ive become jaded by the style. If I could suggest cropping the rhs to the rock I believe this I proves the composition by having a solid edge to the frame, so I read the picture from the artist the painting and then am blocked by the rock and go back into the picture again .

Perhaps the artist might be interested in buying a copy from you ? It's clearly a well thought out image that might appeal

I like the idea and think the popping works well here.

Good point made by taxboy about cropping beyond the rock on RHS, worth considering
