Re: The Photographer
I really do question the need for a dslr for general use.....image quality is amazing on recent phones
..........but of course phone cameras are challenged for noise, focussing, dof control etc etc....but where that's not an issue they are King.Last edited by @imagesBV; 15-02-2019, 15:51.Brian Vickers LRPS

Re: The Photographer
The use of camera phones is only going to increase as companies pour more and more into development and including new ideas to be top of the market. Irrespective of the number of pixels, the number of cameras within the handset or processor etc, I cant see that they will ever match a proper camera for wildlife and perhaps in particular capturing birds in flight.

Re: The Photographer
People use their phones as a photo album. they are great for that sort of record photography. As to their general use, I have always said that the best camera in the world is the one you have with you and as we all carry mobile phones, that is often the only camera we have with us.As to the picture I love that sort of candid shot. The story is so important. Great grab, Stan.Alan
