    Ice cream anyone?

I am not sure if I have posted this in the correct section so I will start by apologising if it should appear in a different heading.

Whilst in Bosham a short while ago an Ice Cream van reversed to the water's edge just as a canoe was coming in.
It was one of those situations which appear only for a few seconds so it is more of a grab shot than anything else and accounts for not all of the van being in shot!

It did, however, make me smile.

    Rose.

If the van had gone a bit deeper they could have got their cones without getting out of the craft! Well spotted.

Lovely image rose! I really like that the ice cream van isn't fully in frame because it really helps guide your eye to the people in the canoe. I really like this. Well spotted and very well taken!

I know that van so well.

It's there pretty much every day as far as I can tell. I can't recall not seeing it there very often. As the tide goes out the driver gradually edges it out onto the shingle bank and then edges it back toward the road as the tide comes back in. At high tide it's often parked in the car park.

Love the image too, a real moment in time.

Great image Rose, I can just imagine having a 99 and dangling my feet into the water.

Thank you everyone for taking time to look and your kind comments with suggestions of the ice cream flavours.
