    Great shots Les.
I was at a 1940's weekend at Hughenden Manor the other weekend and they are great fun with some very interesting and amicable characters.

Really great pics Les. Number 2 in particular is a classic. Excellent captures. Love the DOF in all but number 2 stands out for me.

Some interesting characters well captured. The first two in particular I really like but the blight highlights in the background are a bit distracting. No5 .....she's well endowed

Love these shots Les, 1,2 and 4 are the best to my eyes. I think No 4 shades it as she is such a pretty girl, and the soldier in the background out of focus is perfect.

These sort of events are really good fun.

                Regards Paul

I wondered if anyone had been to Pickering from the forum. I spent the weekend in Whitby where there was a "small" war weekend show and got to see alot "dressed for the part" heading for Pickering on the the steam train.

                    Thanks for sharing.

You have captured some great characters and colour in this set Les, I was quite taken by the ladies, I think the chimney sweep is top notch and gets my vote .

Nice ones Les. Having trawled the series I would plump for the "kissy kissy" one as my favourite. More or less like the "last kiss" before going to the front.

Fantastic shots. I'm impressed by the composition in the 4th shot. Excellent.

Have you been tempted to process them as B&W?
