    Pickering War Weekend

    Hi All,

Great day out - never imagined there would be so many re-enactors there. Took far to many pictures, yet again! Here's a few.

on the series, However I love the BW conversions as it gives it more of a periodic look to the images.

Excellent Neil, all could have been taken in Wartime, I see old Winnie was there again, he doesn't half get round the Country.

I like the aircrew one best.

      Lovely series of shots

Some good shots there particularly the mono which would really look the period with a slight sepia tone

They're great Neil. I don't live far from Pickering, I really must make the effort to go sometime.

            Thanks for sharing.

Do like the black and white for the period feel, but the train station in colour is my leading fave.

                Hi All,

Thanks for the comments, it was a great day out and well worth a consideration next year. I add some more pictures, soon.

hh - no HDR - the effect is one of the nice things the 1DX does at higher ISO settings.
