    A Grand Old Lady

My mum is staying with us over Christmas and while Dee was sorting some cooking this morning thought I would shoot a few portraits. Rather than get the whole studio kit out I used 2 off camera flash guns, one with a white shoot through umbrella and the other an umbrella with a silver reflector. Used the 40D and nifty fifty, manual mode, 1/160, f10, ISO 400.
She's not doing at all bad for 97.5 years young

    Hi Stan,

get rid of one of the 2 catch lights in each eye and you have a fabulous portrait. For her age she is doing very well indeed.

Hope you all have a very happy Christmas

                      thanks everyone

Full of Character.........A face full of character.
you mean wrinkled - its Ok she is used to me being rude to her

and doesn't she look great for her age?
she is amazing -still lives in her own flat, although it is sheltered accomodation and she has meals on wheels but she still gets out a lot on the buses and tram and can also be regularly seen driving her electric buggy around the estate
