Catch

Fighting to catch the brides bouquet.

Taken at a wedding on Friday and part of a sequence from the start to the final catch. Of the series I like this one the best with the blur of the bouquet as it is descending. WDYT?

40D iso400 F8 1/100 Sigma 17-70 @17mm

Great shot. My money's on the girl in the blue. Sensible footwear and a decent run up, I reckon she's going to get above the forwards.

Great shot...I think the fight for the bouquet would have been better...lol

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!

If the one in the blue dress had stretched up for it you could have posted the image in the Nature forum, Birds sub-forum.

Did you manage a shot of the group of nervous boyfriends praying that it wasn't their girl that caught it?

No I didn't unfortunately but it was the Best Man's girlfriend so I suppose there is some justice after all. :D
