Witness Walk on Good Friday 25th March 2016

Good Friday is always marked throughout the country with a procession of witnesses following the cross. St.Asaph was no different and the attached pictures show the walk from the Parish church on the High Street to St.Asaph Cathedral. As the cross is rather heavy it does change hands and on this occasion it required 3 different men to carry the cross.

they never look very happy - they should do the same as Spain and have a band walking in front beating out on the drums

I'm not at religious but I thought Easter was supposed to be a celebration so enjoy it .... but I suppose as you say different countries

You are right about Easter but this was on Good Friday, the day of the Crucifixion. Every one is solemn and sad.
